Estimator – Structural Concrete

A leading commercial concrete contractor in the Houston area is seeking an Estimator with strong structural concrete experience. This team supports major commercial, healthcare, higher‑education, and research facility projects and is known for delivering high‑quality work through advanced technology and a collaborative, family‑oriented culture. The company self‑performs all structural concrete, giving the estimating team direct influence over quality, schedule, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Quantity takeoffs for foundations, elevated decks, walls, columns, and other structural elements

• Conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates

• Drawing and specification review

• Coordination with PMs, Supers, and design teams

• Subcontractor and supplier proposal evaluation

• Preconstruction support including value engineering and budgeting

• Cost history and estimate documentation

Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating structural concrete for commercial projects

• Experience with self‑performed concrete strongly preferred

• Proficiency with estimating software and digital takeoff tools

• Strong understanding of concrete materials, methods, and industry standards

• Effective communication, organization, and analytical skills
