Structural Demolition Technician

A day on our crew

Sun up, hard hat on. You arrive at the site, review the plan, and help turn dated structures into clean, build‑ready spaces. You’ll team up with experienced pros to safely take down walls, roofing, and other building elements. Throughout the day you’ll keep work areas tidy, sort recyclable materials, and make sure everyone follows safety protocols and uses PPE correctly. By day’s end, the site is organized, debris is removed, and the next construction phase can begin.

What you’ll handle

  • Assist with safe demolition of buildings, walls, flooring, roofing, and other components using hand and power tools
  • Clear debris and recyclable materials from job sites in line with safety guidelines
  • Help disassemble fixtures—cabinets, doors, windows—and basic electrical/plumbing elements under supervision
  • Maintain a clean, orderly work zone to maximize safety and efficiency
  • Consistently follow safety rules and wear appropriate PPE

Your toolkit and background

  • Hands-on experience in demolition, general construction, or related labor
  • Comfort with hand tools (sledgehammers, crowbars, chisels, hammers); preferred skill with power tools (drills, saws)
  • Solid grasp of construction safety best practices and PPE use
  • Basic familiarity with building systems: electrical wiring, plumbing, masonry, roofing, and concrete finishing
  • High physical endurance—able to repeatedly lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varied weather for 12–14 hours per day
