We are seeking an experienced engineer with 8+ years experience and a strong background in primary and secondary structural design using sheet metal. You will lead the design, development, integration, and verification of airframe structures throughout the product lifecycle. This position requires advanced CAD expertise (SolidWorks or CATIA V5), strong analytical capabilities (ANSYS or similar) and strong fundamental knowledge to complete designs in a timely manner and to support junior engineers.ResponsibilitiesPerform preliminary loads and stress analysis to guide design decisionsCreate detailed, assembly, and installation design definitions using CAD toolsOversee prototype build and manufacturing activitiesDevelop and maintain engineering requirements, specifications, and processesPlan, coordinate, and execute component, assembly, and aircraft testing across lab, ground, and flight environments, including test planning, instrumentation, data analysis, and resolution of findingsCollaborate with engineering teams to define operating environments, address development issues, and support certification activitiesWork with suppliers to resolve design challenges and align on requirementsTrack and report project progress, schedules, and risksImplement processes and tools to improve design efficiency, quality, and overall effectivenessRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience consideredProven experience designing metallic aircraft primary structuresSkilled in CAD design and modeling, with expertise in design for manufacturing and applying GD&TKnowledge of aircraft certification processes and requirementsStrong foundation in structural design, loads, and mechanical systemsSelf‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong problem‑solving and analytical skillsExcellent academic backgroundClear and effective communication skills, both written and verbalTeam player with a positive attitude and collaborative mindsetReferral NoticeReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at ACE Partners by 2xSeniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionAviation and Aerospace Component ManufacturingBenefits401(k)Medical insuranceVision insurance#J-18808-Ljbffr
