Job Title: Structural Designer
Job Description
The Structural Designer will design building structures in a variety of materials, including structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood. The role focuses on producing accurate technical design drawings and calculations that clearly communicate design intent to clients, while learning and applying established project and company standards and procedures. Most current projects are commercial and industrial, with additional exposure to education, mixed-use, and retail work.

Work Environment
This role is based in an office environment, working closely and side by side with engineers as part of a collaborative design team. Typical hours follow an 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule, supporting a healthy work-life balance. Additional hours may be required as project deadlines approach. The dress code is casual, with jeans and golf shirts acceptable for daily work, and business casual attire expected when clients are in the office. The position involves daily use of design and drafting technologies such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, RAM, and other structural design tools in a professional, team-oriented setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
