The Structural Engineer is responsible for preparing and overseeing the completion of technical deliverables for all project phases following established engineering principles, procedures, and criteria. This position provides structural engineering expertise and ensures deliverables meet the requirements of customer documents, field philosophy, and applicable code and industry standards.

· Provide input during project planning including resource allocation plans, man-hour estimates, and project completion requirements.
· Perform engineering calculations and assist with developing design packages.
· Review and approve engineering scopes of work, schedules, and cost estimates for all project phases.
· Review and approve fabrication and construction scopes of work, specifications, material take-offs (MTO), and change requests.
· Identify scope of work or design basis changes and initiate change management documents.
· Perform quality review of computer-aided design (CAD) work as required.
· Ensure discipline documents are in compliance with Company and project standards.
· Ensure supplier data and drawings are in compliance with project design specifications.
· Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
· Review subcontractor submittals and shop drawings and provide limited support during construction at project sites.
· Recommend, initiate, and coordinate interdisciplinary document review meetings.
· Provide technical guidance to drafters, designers, engineering technicians, and engineers.
· Other duties will be assigned to this position as needs require.
· Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
· Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
· Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
· Minimum 7 years' experience as a Structural Engineer.
· Driver License required.
· Possess a Valid State Driver's License
· Professional Engineer License.
