-Perform wind load, seismic and dead load calculations in accordance with International Building Code (IBC) requirements.
\n-Assist with the structural design and analysis of commercial HVAC products and equipment.
\n-Specify construction materials, structural components and fastening methods for new and existing products.
\n-Collaborate with Professional Engineers (PEs), Structural Engineers (SEs), Designers and Drafters on new product development and engineering projects.
\n-Support the creation and revision of engineering calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
\n-Participate in product design reviews, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
\n-Evaluate existing products for design enhancements, manufacturability and cost reduction opportunities.
\n-Research and apply applicable building codes, engineering standards and industry requirements.
\n-Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering and Product Development teams to support new and existing products.
\n-Receive mentorship and hands-on training while developing the technical experience required to pursue PE and SE licensure.
\nQualifications:
\n-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
\n-Structural engineering emphasis through coursework, projects or internship experience
