Job Details

Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis), or a related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program required.
Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
5-10+ years of structural engineering experience within an architectural, engineering, or consulting environment.
Experience designing vertical building structures utilizing structural steel, reinforced concrete, wood, and masonry framing systems.
Strong understanding of structural analysis, load calculations, and building system design.
Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ICC, and other applicable building codes and design standards.
Experience preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, construction documents, and permit submissions.
Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RAM Structural System, SAP2000, ETABS, ENERCALC, or similar platforms.
Experience using Autodesk Revit Structure and BIM workflows.
Ability to perform field investigations, existing condition assessments, and construction site observations.
Experience reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and supporting construction administration activities.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary project teams.
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) certification required or in progress; Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with a commitment to high-quality design, client service, and continuous professional development.
