Selectek is seeking a Structural Engineer for our partnering company in Alpharetta, Georgia. Candidates in this role will offer their expertise in engineering and the design of industrial bulk material handling projects.
Employment Type: Contract-to-Direct Location: Alpharetta, GA Expected Pay Range: $43.00-$57.00per hour, based on certifications andexperience Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00a-5:00p.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering
10 Plus years Engineering experience with Industrial plate weldments, design with hollow structural tubes/pipes and/or moving structures like offshore rigs, heavy construction cranes, stacker/reclaimers or other similar heavy industrial equipment.
Structural Analysis software proficiency
AutoCAD
In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
Job Duties:
- Perform 3D modeling and work with structural analysis software.
- Mixture of structural and mechanical design with an emphasis on structural steel.
- Prior experience performing this work for heavy industrial projects is mandatory. Experience should be with plate weldments, design with hollow structural tubes/pipes and/or moving structures, ie; offshore rigs, heavy construction cranes, stacker/reclaimers.
