About us

We thrive on solving the toughest engineering problems. Our equipment operates where failure is not an option — nuclear facilities, medical environments, and military applications. If you want to work on technology that truly matters, this is the place.

We offer the opportunity to do meaningful work, lead at every level, and contribute to solutions that matter. We're committed to innovation, continuous learning, and a culture where every team member is empowered to excel.

The role

In this role, you will support the structural design and analysis of air‑handling systems, chillers, pressure vessels, piping systems, trailers, and portable shelters. Your work will focus on evaluating structural integrity under seismic, wind, snow, and live loads, as well as piping expansion.

What you'll do

  • Interpret architectural, technical, and detailed shop drawings

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop system designs and support structures

  • Perform structural calculations using FEA tools and hand methods in accordance with applicable codes

  • Build and manage models in ANSYS Workbench Suite

  • Prepare design packages and structural analysis reports for PE review

  • Recommend design improvements to enhance performance, reduce weight, or lower cost

  • Develop and maintain structural design standards

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, subcontractors, and customers

What we're looking for

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution

  • 5+ years' prior experience in a seismic, stress, or structural analysis

  • 5+ years' working experience with ANSYS Workbench and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Software
    • Strong ability to perform Modal Analysis

  • Preferred experience with:

  • ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code

  • IEEE standards

  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional requirements

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check

  • Authorization to work in the United States

  • On-site position at our Batavia, OH facility

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% annually
