**Primary Duties:**
- Design and analyze structural components for diverse projects
- Oversee design efforts across multiple projects simultaneously
- Create and assess engineering calculations, specifications, and detailed construction documents
- Collaborate seamlessly with civil and other engineering teams
- Ensure compliance and accuracy through thorough QA/QC checks
- Support construction activities with documentation reviews and on-site assessments
- Participate in proposal development and maintain client relationships
- Guide and develop emerging engineering talents within the team
- Maintain project timelines and budget adherence
**Preferred Experience:**
- Familiarity with industrial or heavy manufacturing projects
- Experience with client interactions and project leadership
- Eagerness to mentor team members and take on evolving roles
- Ability to achieve necessary safety certifications (BOP, TWIC, site-specific)
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license valid in Louisiana or eligibility for attainment
- Over four years of experience in structural design for commercial, building, or industrial contexts
- Expertise in design production and project management
- Proficiency in structural software such as RAM, RISA, or STAAD
- Strong skills in Revit and basic knowledge of AutoCAD
- Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
