Our client is currently looking for an experienced Structural Engineer for their office in Boston, MA. This firm offers great benefits along with a competitive salary. They are firm with 32 offices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare structural and bridge construction plans.
- Perform engineering computations to support the development of detailed plans and construction documents
- Direct and mentor team members in the development of design plans, technical oversight, specifications, design calculations, load ratings, cost estimates, reports, final bid packages, etc.
- Perform site visits for data collection in support of design work
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 6+ years of experience required
- Three to five years of prior structural engineering experience
- Massachusetts PE or ability to obtain
- Exposure to MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
- Knowledge of structural engineering software (AASHTOWare, LARSA The Client, MDX, SP Column, MerlinDASH, Mathcad)
- NBIS Inspection Team Leader experience and credentials (preferred)
