We are seeking a Structural Engineer(3-7 years) to join the Structural Engineering department. This position will be based in Columbus, OH.Position OverviewYou will be designing advanced structural systems within the respective markets listed below. These systems may include mat foundations, deep foundations, two-way concrete slabs and composite floor systems, moment, braced and dual structural lateral load systems and shear walls.Project TypesCommercialJusticeEducationHospitalityMilitary/DoD facilitiesWater/WastewaterRequirementsPrimary ResponsibilitiesThorough understanding of building and material codes such as ASCE 7, AISC, ACI and TMS.Advanced knowledge of Concrete, Structural Steel, and Masonry.Perform structural analysis and design of Concrete, Structural Steel, and Masonry structures.Experience with structural analysis and design software such as RAM, STAAD Pro, ETABS, and RISA-3D.Experience with multi-story building design.Highly proficient in Revit.Capable of creating 3-D models, structural drawings, sections and details in Revit.Prepare construction documents (drawings and specifications) and cost estimates.Conduct site visits and prepare field observation reports.Effective collaboration with Clients, Consultants, and other in-house disciplines.Occasional scheduled travel will be required.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Masters preferred.Structural software proficiency is required.Revit proficiency is required.Experience with Water/Wastewater Projects a plus.Experience with Concrete Rehabilitation a plus.Familiarity with Project Management best practices a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
