Pay: $65,000 $85,000+ base salary (based on experience and EIT status) Location: Alexandria / Springfield, VA Term: Direct Hire
We are seeking a Structural Engineer to support building design projects in the Alexandria/Springfield area. This role is ideal for recent ABET-accredited graduates or engineers with an EIT and 13+ years of structural building design experience who are looking for long-term growth and mentorship in a collaborative environment.
Job Duties:
Perform analysis and design of building structural systems using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood
Prepare structural drawings and details using AutoCAD and Revit
Coordinate with architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Support renovation, retrofit, and new construction projects
Assist with construction administration, including RFIs and submittal reviews
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering
EIT certification or applicable structural building experience
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and structural design software
Strong communication and organizational skills
