Are you ready to build your career by joining an award-winning builder of luxury homes? If so, our client is hiring a Structural Engineer.
Position Type:
- Contract
- On-Site
Required:
- Advanced knowledge of residential wood and CMU design and construction.
- PE License preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of engineering experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving and strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred:
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow established procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Design structural components of residential wood and masonry structures.
- Produce and seal structural plans, details, and repair letters.
- Collaborate with architectural staff and various departments.
- Conduct engineering calculations and prepare repair details/letters.
- Coordinate structural plans with truss layouts.
- Perform site visits and meet with building officials.
- Conduct code research.
