We are seeking a Structural Engineer (PE) to join a dynamic design team, supporting the analysis and design of structural systems across a variety of projects. This role involves close collaboration with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams to develop design concepts, perform structural analysis, and ensure high-quality project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural engineering principles, experience with U.S. building codes, and the ability to take ownership of project scope, schedules, and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures
- Apply engineering principles for lateral design (wind and seismic) in accordance with building codes
- Develop design concepts and collaborate with design teams to produce accurate construction documents
- Conduct and review engineering calculations, ensuring quality and accuracy
- Manage assigned work scope, timelines, and deliverables with strong attention to detail
- Identify scope changes and communicate effectively with project leadership
- Support and mentor junior engineers and designers
- Contribute to improving workflows, tools, and engineering processes
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural focus)
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Minimum 4+ years of structural engineering experience
- Experience with U.S. building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC)
- Proficiency with structural analysis tools, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
- Experience designing steel and concrete structures
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
