Structural Engineer

Oxford Solutions is working with an engineering consulting client seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join its team. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong structural design background who enjoys collaborating with project managers, engineers, and designers across a variety of building and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
• Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver accurate, high-quality designs.
• Support projects from concept through design development and construction documentation.
• Review drawings and calculations for compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural and other engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5-10 years of structural engineering experience.
• EIT certification required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience designing and detailing steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
• Working knowledge of applicable building codes and design standards, including IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
