Position Summary
Seeking a Structural Engineer to support the design and analysis of new and existing building projects across a variety of market sectors. This role will be responsible for structural design, engineering analysis, project coordination, and mentoring junior staff while working on commercial, retail, government, hospitality, education, multifamily, and historic building projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze new and existing building structures.
- Prepare structural designs using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
- Manage projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Review drawings and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Mentor and support junior engineering staff.
- Coordinate project deliverables and maintain project schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
- 5+ years of structural engineering design experience.
- Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and related design codes.
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience with RAM Steel, RAM Concept, Elements, or similar structural analysis software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior engineers.
- Experience with commercial, multifamily, education, hospitality, government, or historic building projects.
