The Structural Engineering Associate role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career engineers eager to gain hands-on experience across all phases of project delivery from schematic design through construction administration.
Working under the direct mentorship of licensed Professional Engineers, you will contribute to structural analysis, design development, construction documentation, and project coordination. This position offers a strong learning environment, exposure to diverse project types, and the chance to build foundational technical and professional skills while supporting high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a member of a structural design team to design a variety of projects including:
- Industrial
- Commercial
- Government
- Water/Wastewater projects
- Work with a team in the preparation of calculations, technical reports, design drawings, and specifications for projects of various sizes and complexity.
- Support senior engineers in project planning, coordination, and delivery.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams including:
- Architects
- Contractors
- Other engineering disciplines
- Use engineering design software to prepare design documents.
- Accompany Senior Engineers on site visits, field inspections, and construction observation as needed.
- Performs other duties as requested.
