Structural Engineering Regional Lead

OverviewEVstudio is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to anchor our Boise structural team. This is a high-impact role for a licensed engineer who's ready to take ownership of technical excellence, grow a Boise-based team, and collaborate across disciplines within a dynamic and integrated design firm. As the senior-most structural professional in our Boise office, you'll be shaping project delivery, guiding junior staff, and collaborating closely with our architecture, civil, and MEP teams.ResponsibilitiesLead structural design and project management for commercial, residential, municipal, multi-family, and mixed-use projectsServe as the technical lead on structural systems, including wood, steel, concrete, and masonryOversee and review calculations, drawings, and construction documentsMentor and supervise structural EITs and junior engineersCoordinate with architects and other in-house disciplines for integrated project deliveryContribute to QA/QC processes and the development of internal design standardsQualificationsBachelor's in Civil/Structural EngineeringPE or SE license required (Idaho or ability to obtain quickly)Typically, 7+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong design portfolioProficiency in structural design software (RISA, RAM, ETABS, Revit, etc.)Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsCommitment to quality design, team mentorship, and client satisfactionWhat We OfferWe are targeting a base salary of $90,000 to $130,000, but this is determined by several factors including education, experience, and a history of working in the Boise metro area.Medical insurance, including an HSA optionDental insuranceVision insuranceEmployer-paid life insuranceSTD & LTDA minimum of 15 days PTO, and higher for more experienced employeesAccident insurance401k match of 4%One full day of paid Volunteer Time Off (VTO) annuallyRoth 401K optionAnnual company ski day and summer picnicFlexible hoursIn many cases, our roles can be worked in a hybrid capacityMonthly employee celebrations (with free lunch)The opportunity to touch every aspect of a project, from beginning to endFree snacksWeekly volleyball league in the Summer and bowling in the WinterRelaxed dress codeEntrepreneurial mindset – If you have an idea, we want you to pursue it!Our Hiring ProcessEVstudio prides itself on being efficient in its hiring process.
