Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule: 3rd Shift | 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (overtime available)

Openwork is partnering with a respected manufacturer of premium steel and aluminum products to hire experienced Structural Fitters for their 3rd shift team.

What You’ll Do:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Measure, mark, cut, grind, and prepare steel components.
- Fit and tack weld materials according to specifications.
- Assemble grating panels, stair treads, frames, and structural components.
- Operate forklifts, hoists, and overhead cranes safely.
- Inspect assemblies to ensure accuracy within tight tolerances (1/8”).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace.
- Work closely with welders and supervisors to meet production goals.
What You Bring:
- 3–5 years of experience as a structural fitter, fabricator, or similar role.
- Strong blueprint reading and welding symbol interpretation skills.
- Experience with hand tools, grinders, cutting torches, and measuring devices.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to pass a required fit-up test during the on-site interview.
