Job Title: Lead Structural Welder

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE

Position Summary
The Lead Welder is responsible for overseeing daily welding operations while performing high-quality structural welding work. This role ensures production efficiency, adherence to quality standards, and supports team members to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
Perform structural welding in accordance with specifications and blueprints
Lead and support welding team members on the production floor
Conduct quality control (QC) checks to ensure weld integrity and compliance
Train and mentor welders on best practices and safety procedures
Troubleshoot welding issues and implement corrective actions
Ensure all work meets company and industry standards
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Collaborate with supervisors and management to meet production goals
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
Proven experience in structural welding
Prior experience in a Lead or supervisory welding role preferred
Strong understanding of welding techniques, equipment, and safety standards
Experience performing quality control inspections on welds
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in welding (AWS or equivalent)
Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Experience leading teams and driving productivity improvements
