Structural Metal Fabricator — MIG & Stick

Role snapshot

• Location: Weatherford, TX
• Shifts: 1st or 2nd
• Pay: $19–$22 per hour
• Overtime: Available
• Primary processes: MIG (GMAW) and Stick (SMAW)

Impact you’ll make

• Set up welding equipment; verify materials and consumables match job requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to plan each fabrication step.
• Produce sound welds in flat, vertical, and overhead positions using MIG and Stick.
• Inspect and measure welds to confirm compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding gear to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; wear PPE and follow safety procedures.

Must-haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of welding experience.
• Proven skill reading blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe shop practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform in a physically demanding setting.
• Comfort working independently and within a team environment.
