Job Information

  • Location: Goose Creek, SC

What You Need

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of additional education and/or related marine pipefitting experience.
  • Proficiency in pipecutting/fitting, joint types and blueprint reading.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement training programs for marine pipefitting processes and techniques.
  • Thorough knowledge of marine pipefitting skills (Cutting/Fitting of pipe, identification of pipe joint types and reading of drawings).
  • Troubleshoot and calibrate tolerances.
  • Experience with bending and metal fabrication.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations for employees.
  • Assess the training needs of staff and tailor programs to meet those needs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate into training.
  • Collaborate with management to establish training goals and objectives.
  • Maintain training records and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to trainees to ensure skill retention and application.
  • Monitor progress and certification status of trainees.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and manufacturing standards
