Structural Project Manager

South Bend, IN | Data Center Construction | General Contractor

We are working with a General Contractor delivering a major 350,000 sq. ft. data center development in the South Bend area and are looking to appoint an experienced Structural Project Manager to join the project team.

This is a site-based role with responsibility for managing the structural package across a large-scale ground-up data center build.

Recent data center or mission-critical construction experience is essential.

The Role

The Structural Project Manager will take ownership of the structural scope from planning and procurement through installation, coordination and closeout.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing the structural package across the project
  

• Coordinating structural steel, concrete and associated trade partners
  

• Reviewing drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals and change orders
  

• Managing subcontractors, vendors and project documentation
  

• Tracking schedules, budgets and package-level progress
  

• Coordinating closely with civil, architectural, MEP and field teams
  

• Identifying design or sequencing issues and driving solutions
  

• Supporting procurement and long-lead material planning
  

• Ensuring work is delivered safely and to the required quality standards
  

• Managing punch list, closeout and final documentation
  

• Working closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, engineers and trade partners throughout delivery
  

What We’re Looking For

• Recent data center or mission-critical construction experience is essential
  

• Strong General Contractor or major construction management background
  

• Project management experience across structural steel, concrete and structural packages
  

• Experience delivering large-scale ground-up construction projects
  

• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trade coordination
  

• Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, RFIs and submittals
  

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  

• Ability to work full-time on site in the South Bend area
