Create detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for structural steel components.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to develop accurate detailing.
Utilize CAD software to produce high-quality drawings and models.
Coordinate with fabrication teams to address any design-related issues during production.
Maintain organized documentation of all detailing work and revisions.
Participate in project meetings and provide updates on detailing progress.
Generate and manage Bills of Material (BOMs), cut lists, and CNC fabrication files.
Review connection designs and coordinate with structural engineers when required.
Ensure detailing complies with AISC standards, OSHA requirements, and project specifications.
Participate in BIM coordination meetings and model review sessions.
Maintain revision control and document management throughout project lifecycle.
