TradeWorX is hiring experienced Structural Steel Erectors / Ironworkers for a commercial construction project in the Lancaster, New York area. We are looking for 3–4 dependable field employees with structural steel erection experience.

Pay & Overtime:
Up to $30.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Approximately 40 hours expected. Overtime has not been confirmed.
Schedule:

• Start date: August 17, 2026
• Approximately 40 hours for the week
• Expected duration: approximately one week
• Exact daily schedule to be confirmed

Job Duties:

• Assist with erection and installation of structural steel beams and columns
• Install roof decking on a commercial addition
• Frame structural openings in roof areas
• Install miscellaneous steel, including rails and ladders
• Work safely at elevation and around active steel erection operations
• Follow field supervision, erection sequencing, and jobsite safety requirements

Requirements:

• Previous structural steel erection, ironworking, or closely related commercial field experience
• Experience setting beams, columns, decking, or miscellaneous structural steel
• Ability to work safely at heights and use required fall-protection equipment
• Ability to perform physically demanding field work
• Reliable transportation to the Lancaster, NY area
• Welding certification is a plus but is not required based on current information

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced in commercial structural steel erection
• Comfortable working independently within an erection crew
• Dependable and able to commit to the full short-term assignment
• Safety-focused and prepared for work at elevation
• Available to start August 17, 2026
