You must live in the Easter Time Zone for this Remote Position with 50% travelThis role is structured for a structural steel project manager with direct fabrication and field execution experience seeking long-term infrastructure-focused work across the Central & Eastern USAn established structural steel contractor is seeking a Project Manager to lead fabrication and erection packages for infrastructure-focused construction projects, including power plants, water and wastewater treatment facilities, data centers, and other mission‑critical industrial environments. This is a construction‑driven role requiring grounded experience in mechanical and structural steel project execution.The position manages the full lifecycle of awarded structural steel projects from engineering review through detailing, fabrication, delivery, erection, and closeout. Work is tied to complex steel packages within large-scale infrastructure programs where schedule control, sequencing, and disciplined cost management are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesManage structural steel fabrication and erection projects supporting power generation, water/wastewater treatment, data center, and heavy industrial facilitiesLead projects from contract award through closeout, directing engineering review, detailing, shop fabrication, logistics, and field installationInterpret architectural and structural drawings and translate design intent into coordinated fabrication and erection plansControl RFIs, submittals, change orders, scope management, and contract complianceDevelop and maintain project schedules, delivery sequencing, and erection planning to support active construction sitesOversee job costing, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability managementCoordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, owners, general contractors, and subcontractorsSupport estimating teams with technical review of bid documents and constructability inputRequired QualificationsU.S. Citizenship or Permanent ResidencyMinimum five years of project management experience in structural steel fabrication and erection within commercial, industrial, or infrastructure constructionDemonstrated experience delivering steel packages for complex facilities such as power plants, water/wastewater treatment plants, data centers, or similar heavy infrastructure projectsStrong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural construction documentsProven record managing scope, contracts, cost controls, and schedule performance under production‑driven environmentsExperience coordinating fabrication shops and field erection crews across active job sitesCompetence in project documentation, budgeting, and financial controlsEmail your resume to rick@libertyjobs.com to apply#J-18808-Ljbffr
