What you’ll handle
- Execute Stick Welding (SMAW) and Structural MIG Welding (GMAW)
- Weld and fabricate heavy steel components and multi‑part assemblies
- Fit, lay out, cut, and grind materials to prepare joints and edges
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications
- Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized work area
What you bring
- 10+ years of hands‑on SMAW and structural GMAW experience
- Background in heavy steel fabrication (preferred)
- Fluency with welding symbols and blueprint interpretation
- Strong fabrication and fit‑up capabilities
- Proficiency welding in multiple positions
- Meticulous attention to detail and uncompromising quality standards
