As a Structural Welder, you'll be the backbone of the shop floor, laying down high-quality, structurally sound welds to keep production moving forward. Youll spend your days on your feet, working with heavy materials, and taking pride in a job done right. Youll work closely with the fabrication and management teams to deliver results that make a difference.
What You'll Do
As a Structural Welder, you will be responsible for:
Performing full-time structural MIG welding according to project specifications
Holding, positioning, and operating welding and grinding equipment safely for 8+ hours a day
Reading and interpreting structural blueprints and weld symbols accurately
Pushing, pulling, and assisting in the movement of heavy steel materials using cranes, forklifts, and carts
Following all precise verbal and written technical directions
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Structural MIG welding experience
Ability to pass a structural steel weld test during the interview process
Current AWS D1.1 weld certification or equivalent skills
Strong knowledge of structural steel industry terminology and structural blueprint symbols
Excellent teamwork, communication skills, reliable attendance, and punctuality
Physical ability to lift up to 5075 lbs regularly and stand/stoop for 90100% of the day

This is a temp-to-hire position on-site in Albany, OR, and offers Monday - Friday, 6AM/7AM - 2:30 PM shifts.
