Description: Structural Welder Temp-to-Hire Location: Sapulpa, OK Pay: $23.00/hour Schedule: Monday Friday, 5: 00 AM 3: 30 PM (occasional Saturdays)
Stand-By Personnel is hiring a Structural Welder for a production facility in Sapulpa. This role involves structural welding, fabrication, and working with various shop equipment in a safety-focused environment. Test Required: 3G Butt Plate (Flux Core fill & cap, back gouge, single-pass)
Key Responsibilities - Perform MIG (GMAW) and Flux Core (FCAW) welding on structural steel - Set up and adjust welding equipment per specifications - Complete fillet, tack, and full penetration welds - Clean and grind materials after welding as needed - Operate overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment - Inspect welds for quality and structural integrity - Maintain a clean and safe work area - Report equipment or product issues to supervisors
Requirements - 1+ year welding experience or welding school graduate - Ability to operate welding and cutting equipment (plasma, oxy-fuel, AC/DC) - Experience working in a production or fabrication environment - Strong attention to detail and safety practices - Ability to work in a physically demanding setting
