Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking experienced Structural Welders to join a busy fabrication facility serving the Tulsa/Sapulpa area. This position is responsible for welding and fabricating structural steel components while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and production.

Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 2 years of structural welding experience required
Experience performing MIG (GMAW) and Flux Core (FCAW) welding
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication techniques
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work overtime as production demands require
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform MIG (GMAW) and Flux Core (FCAW) welding on structural steel components
Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols
Fabricate, fit, and assemble structural steel components according to specifications
Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards
Maintain production efficiency while producing high-quality workmanship
Operate welding equipment safely and perform routine equipment checks
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures, welding standards, and fabrication requirements
Assist with additional fabrication and production duties as assigned
Weld Test Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete:
3G MIG Weld Test
3G Flux Core Weld Test(Single Bevel)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in heavy structural steel fabrication
Knowledge of AWS welding standards and fabrication best practices
Experience using fabrication tools and material handling equipment
Ability to perform layout and fit-up operations independently
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely work around welding equipment, heavy steel, heat, sparks, and industrial machinery while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in a physically demanding fabrication environment
Work Environment
Heavy industrial fabrication and manufacturing facility
Exposure to welding equipment, heavy steel materials, overhead cranes, fabrication machinery, heat, sparks, and industrial noise
Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity
