We are a growing billboard manufacturing shop building large steel structures that are shipped and installed nationwide. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented structural welder to join our core team.
This is a hands-on fabrication role working on columns, frames, catwalks, and other billboard assemblies. If you take pride in building things the right way—not just fast—you’ll fit in well here.
What You’ll Do
? Perform MIG welding on structural steel (1/4" to 1-1/2")
? Weld assemblies including columns, face frames, catwalks, and support structures
? Follow shop drawings and welding procedures
? Assist with fit-up, tacking, and sequencing to control distortion
? Inspect your own work for quality and consistency
? Work as part of a team to meet production schedules
? Contribute ideas to improve processes and workflow
What We’re Looking For
? 2–5+ years of welding experience (structural preferred)
? Ability to perform AWS-quality welds (cert. not required, but must pass weld test)
? Strong attention to fit-up and weld quality
? Comfortable working with heavier steel assemblies
? Able to lift 75 lbs and work on your feet
? Positive attitude and team mindset
Nice to Have:
? Prior experience with structural fabrication or billboard work
? Previous AWS certification (current or expired)
Work Environment
? Indoor fabrication shop (unconditioned, with airflow)
? 4-day work week (4x10s)
? Overtime available depending on workload
