We are seeking an experienced Structural Welder / Fabricator to join a growing fabrication team in East Tulsa. The Structural Welder / Fabricator must be self-sufficient, capable of reading prints, fabricating from start to finish, and adapting quickly when fabrication challenges arise.
This role plays a critical part in the production of meter houses and structural steel components. Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Structural Welder / Fabricator
Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication prints Layout, cut, prep, fit, and weld materials independently Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on structural steel Pass and perform 3G plate welding on plate (no run-off tabs) Fabricate and weld steel siding / R-Panel for meter houses Make real-time adjustments during fabrication as needed Maintain quality, accuracy, and safety standards at all times Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 2+ years of welding experience required Proven experience as a structural welder/fabricator Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and welding processes Experience working with pipe materials, diameters, wall thicknesses, and grading systems Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the floor Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen Valid driver s license required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Preferred Qualifications
