Description
Structural Welders
PAY: 25-27/hr.
Location: Port of Catoosa
Weld Test: 2G & 3G MIG/FLUXCORE weld test.
A GREAT Tulsa company is looking for STRUCTURAL WELDERS with experience 1-5 years of experience.
Required Experience
- One year required in Mig and Flux core experience. (Arc gouging is a plus)
- Must be able to pass a 2G & 3G MIG/FLUXCORE weld test.
- Basic Math skills
- Must have a firm understanding of volts and amps and be able to adjust accordingly.
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing to work frequently overtime.
- Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Must be able and willing to work at elevated heights from ladders, scaffolding, aerial work platforms, etc.
- Work may include pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment, or tools.
- Must be able to perform tasks in hot and cold temperatures.
- Work will include frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and stooping and occasional climbing onto equipment.
- Work involves standing and/or walking for extended periods of time, up to a minimum of 8 hours per day.
- The essential job functions and duties outlined in this position are considered safety sensitive.
- High School degree, diploma, or a GED equivalent qualification from a certified college.
Must have the following items with you to take the weld test
- Welding Hood
- Leather welding gloves
- Safety glasses
