Our design center collaborates across various programs to enhance resources and optimize design processes. We are seeking a talented individual to contribute to our ongoing projects and future innovations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- Experience in Model Based Definition.
- Proficiency in the structural design process from conceptual layout phase through build-to package release.
- Experience in leading a structural design team through product development.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in CREO, CATIA, Enovia, NX CAD, and Teamcenter PDM.
- Experience in the utilization of new materials.
- Experience with design development and sustaining of lift equipment.
- Experience with detailed design of large, portable work platforms.
- Project management skills, including tracking metrics, reporting project status, and working across integrated teams.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
- Maintain and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs using 3-D CAD tools.
- Perform tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers to optimize design and achieve program goals.
- Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs.
