Position Summary
Responsible for advanced copper cabling installation, rack build-outs, and small-scope project execution with increasing independence and leadership expectation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own small scopes
- Install backbone cabling and supports
- Perform advanced terminations and testing
- Build and dress racks to professional standards
- Basic troubleshoot cabling issues
- Understand grounding/bonding
- Assist with material planning & counts
- Train Installer I's
- Communicate professionally with GC/customer
- Entry-level fiber handling awareness
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years cabling experience
- Demonstrated copper installation proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- BICSI Installer 2 — Copper (INSTC) – Core credential
- Manufacturer system warranty certifications
- Lift certification (if relevant)
