Structured Cabling / Low Voltage Technician

We are seeking a motivated Structured Cabling / Low Voltage Technician to support a large data center project in Tempe, Arizona. This is a hands-on, on-site position working under the direction of experienced Lead Technicians. Technicians may occasionally be assigned to another local project based on business needs.
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Wednesday-Sunday, 5:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Wednesday-Sunday, 3:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. (the Sunday shift ends at 1:00 a.m. Monday).
Responsibilities
- Install Cat3, Cat5e, Cat6, coaxial, and fiber-optic cabling systems.
- Pull, route, dress, label, terminate, and test copper and fiber cabling.
- Assist with IDF/MDF build outs.
- Test and troubleshoot copper and single-mode/multi-mode fiber cabling.
- Install outlets, connectors, grounding infrastructure, and firestopping.
- Read blueprints, floor plans, and installation specifications.
- Follow ANSI, TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC, and local standards.
- Maintain a safe, professional work environment and follow all site procedures.
Qualifications
- At least one year of structured cabling or low-voltage installation experience.
- Strong cable pulling, cable dressing, and cable termination skills.
- Experience with copper and/or fiber-optic cabling.
- IDF/MDF build out experience is a plus.
- Fiber splicing experience is not required; training is provided.
- BICSI certification is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read blueprints and installation drawings.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Tempe worksite.
- Ability to climb, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work safely in an active data center environment.
Required Personal Equipment
- Steel-toe, lace-up work boots.
- Type II hard hat.
- Work gloves.
- Basic hand tools.
- All remaining required equipment is supplied.
