Our teams install and maintain the structured cabling, fiber, nurse call, patient monitoring, and other technology systems that keep hospitals and healthcare facilities connected and operating effectively.
We are known for consistent, quality work in active healthcare environments and for giving technicians the training, tools, and support they need to grow their careers in low voltage.
The Opportunity
As a Low Voltage Technician, you will work on local projects throughout the Omaha area, installing and supporting the cabling infrastructure used by hospitals and healthcare facilities. This is a hands-on field role for someone who enjoys technical work, prefers to stay mostly local, and wants steady project experience without being on the road full-time.
You will build practical expertise in category cable and fiber installations in real-world clinical environments, with the opportunity to take on more complex assignments as your skills grow.
What You'll Do
- Install, route, pull, terminate, test, and label category cable and fiber for healthcare facilities in the Omaha area.
- Work in active hospital environments, including above ceilings, on ladders, and inside IDF/MDF rooms, while following all safety and hospital protocols.
- Use project drawings and written requirements to complete installations accurately and on schedule.
- Test and document completed cabling, ensuring your work meets Prime Connected standards and passes quality inspections.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas and collaborate with project leads and other technicians to meet project deadlines.
What Success Looks Like
- Within your first several months, you understand Prime Connected installation standards and healthcare project requirements and can apply them consistently on every job.
- You independently complete common cabling tasks that pass inspection the first time, with accurate testing, labeling, and documentation.
- Project leads and teammates know you as dependable, safety-conscious, organized, and respectful when working around hospital staff and patients.
- You steadily take on more complex assignments, expand your knowledge of low voltage systems, and contribute to meeting project schedules and quality goals.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with structured cabling, category cable, fiber, or another low voltage field.
- Comfort working in active jobsites and performing physical tasks such as working on ladders and above ceilings.
- Strong attention to detail with labeling, testing, and documentation, and pride in producing clean, professional installations.
- Dependable, clear communicator who follows instructions, works safely, and is eager to learn new systems and build technical skills.

- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- HSA options, paid time off, and life insurance
