Responsibilities
Install and terminate fiber optic cabling
Perform fusion splicing
Test fiber using OTDR and power meter equipment
Install patch panels, racks, and cable pathways
Read blueprints and follow project specifications
Troubleshoot fiber systems
Support commercial construction projects from rough-in through completion
Qualifications
At least 1 year of fiber optic experience
Experience with fusion splicing preferred
Commercial construction or structured cabling background
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work safely in active construction environments
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
