About Superior
For years, Superior has been the company businesses call when they need it done right, no matter where "there" is. From coast to coast, our traveling teams carry the same standard onto every site, which is exactly why clients trust us with locations they can't personally oversee. Every cable we run has our name behind it, wherever it ends up.
No Two Backbones Look the Same. Neither Does Your Week.
Airports. Data centers. Hospitals. Corporate campuses. Every one of them runs on a network somebody built by hand, and Superior Communication Services is hiring a Traveling Structured Cabling Technician to be that somebody. You'll pull copper and fiber through buildings most people never see the inside of, on jobsites that change every few weeks instead of never. If you'd rather build something new every month than maintain the same thing forever, this is the job.
The Scope
You'll run copper and fiber through telecom rooms, risers, and ceilings on commercial and enterprise jobsites nationwide, using product lines from Panduit, Legrand, CommScope, Belden, and Corning. Different building, different layout, different crew, every time, and you'll figure it out fast.
Who Does Well Here
Worth Mentioning
Why Traveling Techs Stay at Superior
Per diem, paid travel days, and a steady project pipeline that keeps you working instead of sitting around waiting for the next job. You'll see more of the country and more building types than a technician working one region ever will, and that range makes you sharper, not just busier. We also take the travel toll seriously: reasonable scheduling and real time off between long stretches.
The Bottom Line
If a new site next month sounds better than the same one for the next ten years, we want to hear from you.

Requirements
On the Job
You land on-site, get oriented fast, and get to work: rough-ins, terminations, telecom room builds, backboards, racks, patch panels, fiber enclosures. You test everything with certification equipment (Fluke DSX or equivalent) before you leave, because there's no swinging back next week to fix it. Then you're on to the next site, the next building, the next backbone.
Benefits
Beyond the benefits above, what really sets us apart is our people and culture. We were named a Best Place to Work in 2026 and hold a 4.8-star rating on Indeed, and we think that says more than any list of perks could.
