A premier global law firm is seeking a Structured Finance Associate Attorney to join its New York office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing financial institutions, investment banks, private credit funds, specialty finance companies, mortgage lenders, and institutional investors in sophisticated structured finance and securitization transactions.

Ideal Background

4–6 years of structured finance, securitization, or secured finance experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing investment banks, financial institutions, private credit funds, mortgage lenders, specialty finance companies, issuers, and institutional investors

• Experience handling repurchase facilities, warehouse facilities, syndicated credit facilities, securitizations, and other structured finance transactions

• Experience drafting and negotiating repurchase agreements, credit agreements, pooling and servicing agreements (PSAs), indentures, intercreditor agreements, private placement memoranda, offering documents, and other structured finance documentation

• Strong understanding of mortgage-backed and asset-backed financing structures, collateral arrangements, servicing agreements, and related financing issues

• Experience supporting ABS, RMBS, warehouse lending, collateralized financing arrangements, and capital markets transactions is preferred

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated finance transactions while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

New York bar admission required or ability to become admitted
