We're looking for a Structures Project Manager to join the HMB team!

Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, and execution of structural engineering projects primarily in, but not limited to, the transportation market.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality control to ensure successful project completion.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
Provide technical expertise in structural analysis, design, and materials selection.
Oversee and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and drafters.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Develop, review and approve project documentation, reports, and specifications.
Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving technical challenges.
Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
Provide clients with technical support and subject matter expertise on transportation structures related issues.
Conduct appropriate cost-benefit analyses for assigned projects.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license required.
15+ years of experience in structural engineering and project management.
Proven track record of managing structural projects.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, clients, and contractors.
Experience working in multiple states is a plus.
Project and/or client management experience is required.
Ability to guide junior staff as well as participate in the design and detailing of all aspects of small- to large-scale structural projects of varying technical complexity.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Teams.
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication, as well as time management skills.
Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client needs and deadlines, as well as other assigned project parameters.
Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
