Mission
This role focuses on aircraft structural repair, modification, inspection, and composite work on Global and Challenger business aircraft, supporting a high-performance corporate aviation environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring structural integrity, safety, and long-term reliability of advanced business jets.
- Perform aircraft structural troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and maintenance
- Fabricate and modify aircraft structural components and sheet metal parts
- Perform minor composite structural repairs on attached or detached components
- Assist with hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures
- Support complex structural repairs both on and off aircraft
- Remove and install aircraft structural components as required
- Assist with aircraft component repairs and modifications
- Assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations when needed
- Operate ground support equipment as required
- Assist with aircraft towing and repositioning operations
- Support maintenance activities at off-site locations when required
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, safety policies, and environmental standards
- Participate in 5S workplace organization and cleanliness initiatives
- Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and in accordance with manuals and regulations
- Perform work safely, efficiently, and within required timelines
Profile
- Minimum 3 years of corporate aviation experience, preferably on Bombardier or Gulfstream aircraft
- Completion of sheet metal or aircraft structures technical training (or equivalent experience)
- Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Experience performing aircraft structural repairs, sheet metal work, or composite repairs
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal English
- Must own and maintain a basic set of hand tools with proper inventory control
- Ability to obtain required Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to obtain a SIDA badge if applicable
- Basic computer skills required
- Work on advanced corporate aircraft (Global and Challenger platforms)
