About the Role
The 1-4ID Stryker Field Maintenance Supervisor provides daily supervision of the 1-4ID Stryker Maintenance Augmentation Team at Ft. Carson. This role involves conducting daily operational interactions with the Manager and the Maintenance Augmentation Team. Additionally, the supervisor interfaces with Customer Units and other GDLS Employees at the location.

Position Description: 
    • Supervise a workforce of direct hire and contractor personnel, scheduling of manpower, work load, and priorities to support business requirements
    • Engage in constant communication with customer (internal and external), management, and personnel to ensure requirements are met in a timely manner
    • Plan/supervise material fielding/warehouse operations (vehicle and assigned equipment) as indicated by USG schedule/adhoc fielding.
    • Maintain 100% accountability of assigned equipment; to include preparing and submitting LTDD documentation as required for broken equipment.
    • Maintain calibration; ensure all equipment requiring calibration are maintained in a mission ready status.
    • Manage assets to ensure supplies are issued in a manner that will cause a continuous flow of material as required
    • Supervise repair/supply activities in order to streamline flow of materials to workforce
    • Direct the maintenance steps to accomplish repairs including disassembling, removing and replacing worn/ damaged/defective part(s), adjusting, reassembling, testing, and using applicable technical documentation.
    • Complete maintenance and administrative forms and other paperwork related to performance of duties
    • Participate in logistical meetings and provide insight for paths forward in support rendered
    • Supervisevehicle De-processing, Depot Re-Cycle Float (DRCF) or Retrofit operations IAEW established processes and procedures. 
    • Supervise troubleshooting and correct malfunctions in automotive systems (driveline and suspension), electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and FUPP utilizing manual troubleshooting procedures (MTPs), common and special tools and applicable technical documentation.
    • Perform individual and collective counseling to employees on a regular basis
    • Ensure continuous improvement and compliance to ISO, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Lean Six Sigma, and Whole Systems Business Model, (WSBM).

    Position Requirements:  
    • Must have 3 to 5 years related work experience with leadership or supervisory experience. 
    • Associates degree from an accredited school in a related business or technical discipline required.  
    • Experience directly related to position such as leading/supervising personnel in a maintenance environment, strong hands-on experience in fielding operations are required.  
    • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate (verbal and written).
    • Strong supervisory skills, with ability to teach, coach, mentor and identify/ develop talent.
    • Candidates should be able to obtain and maintain a US Passport/Visa, and a corporate credit card for travel purposes. 
    • Computer literate, must be capable of using MS suite of Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Should be familiar with web access/internet connections, Lotus Notes is desirable. 
    • Ability to manage electronic files, archive, and retrieve upon request. 
    • Travel to remote CONUS/OCONUS locations on short notice to support operations for long or short-term durations. 
    • Must meet and maintain ASR requirements. 
    • Must be able to successfully pass and maintain NACI background to obtain CAC (common access card). 
    Position Salary Range: New hires generally start between $80,000 and $90,000 per year.  Applicant’s placement within the range is based on qualifications and professional experience.  The full salary range for the position is between $77,100 and $115,700 per year.
     
    Position Incentive: Hired applicant will be able to receive an annual bonus.
