STUCCO OPERATIONS TEAM LEAD

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Stucco Operations Team Lead to oversee and coordinate all aspects of stucco application and related activities within our construction projects. This role is vital in ensuring high-quality workmanship, efficient workflow, and seamless communication across teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical proficiency, and a passion for operational excellence. As a key leader on-site, you will manage staff, supervise daily operations, and uphold safety standards while delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Lead and supervise stucco installation teams to ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols
• Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines efficiently
• Manage staff performance through coaching, feedback, and supervision to foster a motivated and skilled team
• Oversee operational management including resource allocation, material handling, and equipment usage
• Maintain detailed reports on project progress, safety incidents, and operational metrics using report writing skills
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by conducting regular site inspections and promoting best practices
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors to facilitate smooth communication and resolve issues promptly
• Drive the company vehicle to transport materials between suppliers and job sites
• Additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry or a related field
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record with reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift and carry at least 80 pounds regularly
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required)
• Proven experience in stucco operations or related construction fields with a focus on team supervision and project management
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience in staff supervision and team management
• Excellent knowledge of stucco application techniques, materials, and industry standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for report writing, scheduling, and communication purposes
• Experience managing events or large-scale projects within an event venue or construction setting is a plus
• Exceptional managerial communication skills to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Background in operations management, budgeting, shift management, customer service, and guest services preferred
• Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience in hospitality or operational environments is highly desirable
• Flexibility and patience in a fast-paced, changing environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of stucco materials and application techniques
• Experience with construction project coordination
• Haitian Creole language skills
• Familiarity with construction estimating
