Job Summary

Greets and assists students and visitors in person or over the telephone. Provides general office support. Data entry and program information including the exam accommodation program. Provides support for exam proctoring and makes outbound phone calls to students for exam scheduling.

Responsibilities

  1. Receives, greets, and directs visitors to the appropriate person or office.

  2. Answers telephones, provides assistance, and directs students regarding website processes.

  3. Places out bound calls to students and departments as needed and assigned.

  4. Schedules appointments for new student intakes, continuing appointments, and schedules student exams.

  5. Proctors student exams.

  6. Enters student exam time information, other exam duties as requested.

  7. Delivers and picks up exams from testing areas/center, as needed.

  8. Assists in set up, cleaning of exam rooms, and workstations.

  9. Answers questions about the Center for Disability and Access and associated activities.

  10. Other duties as requested and assigned.

The incumbents in this position are expected to be familiar with the department's policies and procedures and are required to have working knowledge of University and department organizations and procedures in order to answer and assist staff and visitors.
