Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, student-focused professional to support a dynamic campus environment by coordinating services, programs, and communications that enhance the student experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations and administrative support for student affairs initiatives, programs, and services.
- Serve as a point of contact for students, responding to questions, providing guidance, and referring inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and execution of student events, workshops, and engagement activities.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, reports, and documentation related to student programs and services.
- Support communication efforts through emails, announcements, newsletters, and other outreach materials.
- Collaborate with campus partners to help ensure students receive timely and effective support.
- Monitor program participation, gather feedback, and help evaluate the effectiveness of student engagement efforts.
- Assist with onboarding, orientation, retention, and other student success initiatives as needed.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and institutional guidelines are followed in daily operations.
- Perform additional duties related to student affairs and campus engagement as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling, communications, administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in student services, academic support, event coordination, office administration, or a related environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide professional, courteous, and student-centered service.
- Proficiency with common office software and student information or database systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students, faculty, staff, and external partners.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting programs that promote student engagement, retention, or success.
- Familiarity with campus resources, student development principles, or higher education operations.
- Experience coordinating events, workshops, or campus-wide communications.
