Announcement Information

Job Summary The Art Department is now seeking 2nd & 3rd year Studio Art majors interested in representing the department as student ambassadors. A core component of this position will be interacting with prospective students and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide guided tours of the art facilities
• Communicate independently with prospective students and provide progress updates
• Work with Admissions to accommodate campus visitors
• Attend department events as a student representative
• Create video content
• Participate in Zoom sessions with prospectives
• Attend department open houses
• Coordinate Zoom chat and tour sessions for All Roads lead to Oberlin and other projects as needed

Qualifications

• Good public speaking skills
• Ability to work independently
• Reliability
• Strong communication skills

Compensation $14 per hour
