Position Title: ASB Student Ticket Taker TEMPORARY, High School Students Only

Classification: Hourly classified, non-union position; Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Non-Exempt

Supervisor/Reports to: ASB Advisor

Schedule: Work schedules will depend upon High School District activities. Typical schedule will be 1 or 2 shifts per week for approximately 4-6 hours each

Greet guests to District events in a kind, friendly, helpful and service oriented demeanor. Reflect the Warrior Code at all times. Assist guests with answers to questions or guide them to a District supervisor for answers. Sale guests tickets to events, determine the costs, receive cash, or process credit card transactions. Receive cash for purchases. Secure cash box at all times. Process credit card purchases. Assist in closing procedures at end of shift/event. Take breaks as earned and needed. Train others on the safe production and handling of food and beverages.

Flexible work schedule to meet needs of the program. Typical schedule will be 1 or 2 shifts per week for approximately 4-6 hours each, after schood day hours. Work environment may be indoors or outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

Job Requirements, Skills Abilities:

Courteous, friendly, willing to help, professional demeanor

Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers, parents, students, and community members.

Self motivated to accomplish necessary tasks

Hold a valid Food Handlers Permit or ability to obtain upon hire

Able to follow directions of supervisor, and follow school and district rules

Maintain composure during stressful situations and periods of times such as: dealing with frustrated or angry customers; customer long wait lines; serving multiple customers at one time.

Able to deal effectively with people and resolve issues or concerns regarding their visit to our campus or ticket transactions.

Accurately count cash received and accurately count change owed

Experience or ability to learn to operate a credit card system

Dependable and reliable, report for work as scheduled.
