    Student Assistance Team (SAT) and Credit Recovery Coordinator Westside (2nd Posting) JobID: 73789 Position Type: Contract/Hourly Employment/Extracurricular Assignment - Professional PersonnelDate Posted: 9/14/2026Location: Westside High SchoolDate Available: 09/30/2026 Closing Date: 09/18/2026County: Wyoming County Schools Additional Information: Show/HideDescription:Student Assistance Team (SAT) and Credit Recovery Coordinator$3,000, with 1/2 paid at end of 1st semester and 1/2 paid at end of school year2026-2027 schoolJob Summary:Facilitate and organize Student Assistance Team meetings with at-risk students, parents, and school personnel.Guide the SAT in conducting effective meetings by reviewing data, identifying and recommending interventions, and ensuring referral files are complete before submission for evaluation.Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and counselors to identify students in need of credit recovery, with emphasis on juniors and seniors.Monitor the progress of students enrolled in credit recovery every week and communicate updates to administrators, counselors, teachers, students, and families.Oversee the Schools PLP program for junior and senior credit recovery.Support SAT members, principals, and parents in interpreting data used for student referrals.Schedule SAT meetings and notify members and parents.Maintain official records and documentation of SAT meetings, decisions, and outcomes.Track and document student completion of credit recovery requirements.Coordinate with outside agencies, administrators, and other stakeholders as needed.Facilitate productive team interaction during SAT meetings.Summarize meeting discussions and decisions for accurate records.Maintain a comprehensive SAT log of all meetings.Perform additional duties as assigned by the principal.Participate in professional development for SAT and Schools PLP.Qualifications:A valid West Virginia Teacher Certification, Licensure, or both.Demonstrated qualifications as outlined in the job description.Knowledge of the community, school, and enrolled students is essential; preference will be given to current school counselors, administrators, or staff with established relationships within the school.Working Conditions:Application Procedure:Apply onlineSelection Procedure:Per WV Code for Professional Extracurricular Positions
